Privacy policy
How Performia handles information about the people who visit this site.
Who is responsible
Performia is responsible for the information collected on this site. If you have a question about your data, write to info@performia.net.
Visitor statistics
We count visits to see how the site is used and to improve it. The count uses no cookies and stores no IP addresses. For each page view we keep the page, the page you came from, your country and region, the network the visit comes from (for example an internet provider or a company network), your browser, device type and language.
While you are on the site, the people who run it can see roughly where visitors are right now on a live map: your area to within about 50 km, never more precisely. This is kept only in memory, never saved, and is gone about a minute after you leave.
To tell visits apart within a day, the site makes a short code from that day's random key. The key is deleted after two days, so the code can't be traced back afterwards. A browser that sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control gets no code at all.
If you choose “Allow” when the site asks, it also counts reading time, scrolling, clicks on buttons and on e-mail and phone links, screen size and page speed. Your choice is remembered in your browser, only so we don't ask again. Change your choice.
Detailed records are kept for 35 days. After that only daily totals remain.
Language
If you pick a language in the switcher, the site remembers that choice in a small cookie for a year, only to show you the right language.
Ads
If this site measures its ads with Meta, TikTok or Google, that only starts after you agree to it in the privacy choices. Those services set their own cookies.
Forms, reviews and event sign-ups
When you send a form, we keep what you wrote so we can answer you. A review is published only after someone has read it, with the name you give.
When you sign up for one of our events, we keep your name, e-mail address and the answers you give (and, at the door, when you check in), to run the event and to contact you about it: a confirmation, reminders and any change to the event. You can see or cancel your sign-up with the personal link you get when you sign up. We delete sign-ups a year after the event.
When a form opens by itself on a page (a popup, a box in a corner or a bar), your browser remembers on this site when you closed or sent it, so it isn't shown to you again too soon. That is one small note per form, kept in your browser's own storage: no cookie, and it is never sent to us.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to info@performia.net.
